Sausage & Ale Weekender - Beer Line Up

We’ve got some epic small batch beers coming your way for our next guest beer bar. The carefully curated selection includes a range of cask and keg beers from across the UK and closer to home, including some real cult classics and contemporary icons. The Driftwood Spars Sausage & Ale Fest is the place to be this Bank Holiday!
From yours truly come two one-off brews:
Rowan's very first beer with us is called First Flight. It's a rich, subtly smoky and full-bodied red ale with hints of spice and fruitness thanks to the use of rye malt and New World hops grown here in England.
Meanwhile Tim has made a super-pale and fruity Belgian Saison, with hints of pepper and clove from the distinctive yeast. Layered with English hops, Archer and Opus, expect lime zest and citrus notes with a hint of spice and a dry finish.
We’re also thrilled to have our former Head Brewer featured at the festival bar with one of his first brews since he launched Mason Brewing. Three Spires is a sessionable and fruity hazy pale ale brewed with Citra and Lorien hops and we’re sure it will fly out the door over Bolster Weekend.
We’ll certainly be getting stuck into a pint or two of St Austell Brewery’s Last of The Jed-IPA in honour of #MayTheFourthThis limited-edition beer is part of St Austell’s Cask Club of small batch releases and is a 3.8% hoppy session IPA, dry hopped with experimental Phantasm. Expect lashings of passionfruit and tropical flavours with a grapefruit finish!
The fun kicks off on Friday 3rd May and lasts all weekend. See you there! Here's the full line-up:
